Is this framing or carpentry?
Framing is the structure. Carpentry is the woodworking, repairs, and built-ins. Both are Sea Level Construction services. A closet, a built-in, or a wood repair that does not change the structure is carpentry.

When is the job framing?
Framing sets a wall, a floor, or a roof before drywall, siding, roofing, or windows go on. It is the service for an addition, a wall move inside a remodel, a deck or screened porch, a roof shape that changes, and an opening for a window or door that is not the same size. Drywall can follow the framing on the same project.
When is the job carpentry?
Carpentry is the woodworking and finish wood, including repairs and built-ins. It shows up on its own and inside remodels, additions, and custom storage. Trim is the finish carpentry at edges, casing, and baseboard. Custom storage for garages, attic access, and closets uses carpentry, trim, doors, and framing when the structure changes.
