Hardwood, manufactured flooring, and tile

Flooring is a part of a remodel, from floor to ceiling. Hardwood, manufactured flooring, and tile are each their own trade.

Floors

A floor job can be one room or the rooms that meet it. Trim goes back on after the floor.

The work covers the Eastern Shore towns. The shop is at 86 Teal Circle, Ocean Pines, MD 21811.

What is the difference between hardwood and manufactured flooring?

Hardwood is the solid-wood floor. Manufactured flooring is the engineered option beside it. Both are Sea Level Construction flooring services. Species and finish are chosen for the job.

Square footage and whether the old floor comes out are what to describe for hardwood. Area and the product are what to describe for manufactured flooring.

When is the floor tile instead?

Tile is the floor and wall surface for kitchens, baths, and other rooms. Bathroom tile is the wet-room tile: shower walls, the shower floor, and the bath floor. Wet areas may be tile while the next room is hardwood.

A kitchen or bath remodel often includes the floor with the cabinets, the tile, or the vanity. Room size and whether it is a wet area change the tile job.

Does the trim go on after the floor?

Yes. Trim is the usual finish at the base of the wall once the floor is in. Baseboard can be scheduled with the hardwood. Paint is not a service Sea Level Construction offers. Ask what state the trim will be left in.
